NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY

When it comes to nature I have always had such a natural inclination to be immersed in it more often than not.  It has inspired me from my childhood. I remember the warm summer days in Niagara, playing in my backyard that looked onto a ravine.  Running through the tall grass, looking for special stones, and getting my hands dirty, to visiting India, and spending hours outside catching baby frogs, and peering into birds nests.  

All those colours & textures, shapes & sizes with different depths of light, and darkness brought me such curiosity. 

In my nature pieces I focus on small details that open the mind's eye to a never ending discovery of even more intricate details, and variety in each photo. I want to evoke a feeling of calmness while tying in the vibrancy of colour.  The edginess or smoothness of the subject, and the beauty nature bestows upon us is what I aim to showcase. 

 

I am truly inspired by nature's vast beauty and everything I’ve yet to see and experience within it.
