About Me

The subject of children and family has been a major part of my life - more so than usual, as I was an adopted child, coming to Canada through extraordinary circumstances. My adoptive parents took me in only ten months after losing two of their own children in a tragic accident.  Life is a very interesting journey and we all have our own destinies.  My dad was a remarkable man who delivered babies and had delivered a few of my future best friends before I had even stepped foot on Canadian soil.  That bond with my friends has lasted over two decades. Through my father's passion for children, and my unique childhood, my love for those integral developing years was born.

Flipping through family photo albums was one of my favourite pastimes as a child.  The discovery of my passion and drive for photography led to my attendance at Mohawk College for the Graphic Design program.  I enjoyed the ability to apply both my design craft and photography skills, melding the two together. After graduating, I moved back to my home town of Niagara, ON to take on my first photography job as a school photographer.  Six months later I made the move and set up base in Toronto.  Working for photography studios let me create a foundation and identify what inspired and pushed me.  I realized that my love for Lifestyle photography was what I wanted to focus on. I took the leap to spread my artistic seed to offer my own services.

As a photographer my biggest goal is to capture the love of souls together. I want to frame the special details, the exciting moments and laughter, capturing that 'yes' moment, or a memorable day with close loved ones.

My aim is to always shoot to tell your unique story and to produce that beautiful timeline onto print, to create a customizable album to relive your story whenever you please.

My goal as an artist is to create a special connection with each person I meet.  When is comes to my art, I want you to feel connected to a piece that speaks to you and your space. There has to be that harmonious balance of a piece of work that hangs just right on your wall, while engaging an individual's eye to draw them in for conversation, not to mention something that you just love looking at!

I want to get to know you and everything that makes you click!  I would love to meet for a tea or coffee and hear about your visions and expectations for your photography session or art piece.

 Let’s create something magical!
